A little bit about Driftwood

We, two Spanish brothers, drifted around South East Asia for some years until we went ashore in Selong Belanak. Exploring the beach and neighbouring coastline, we were astonished; then, after discovering the stunning inland, we decided to anchor and let our roots grow.

We are deeply grateful for the offerings of this land and its local community. We feel that growing and conducting our business in a responsible, inclusive way, as well as working with the natural environment in a sustainable operation, was the least we could offer to the world around us.

Our guests will see that we followed our dreams, introducing South Lombok in a personal, fun and relaxed way.

Our location

Driftwood Lombok is located in the heart of Selong Belanak, just 900 metres away from one of the best rated beaches in Southeast Asia. Lombok international airport is 23 km away, just 30 minutes by car. All the famous beaches are very close by. Maui Beach is just 5 km away, Mawun is about 12 minutes away. The closest most developed town is Kuta, which can be reached in 20 minutes by car or scooter.

How to get here?

  • From the Airport: 30 minute ride to our resort
  • From Bali:
    • Ferry from Padang Bai to Lembar followed by a 50 minute ride from Lembar to our resort
    • Fast boat from Padang Bai to Bangsal followed by a 1 hour 45 minute ride from Bangsal to our resort
  • From the Gili Islands: 1 hour 45 minute ride from Bangsal to our resort.
